Pitch decks can be dry affairs—crammed with charts, graphs, and optimistic bullet points. The CFO of Fastly, a startup based in San Francisco, asked me to help him design an impactful pitch deck to help the company secure Series D funding. He wanted a pitch deck unlike “all the others.” The result? They got the funding. And while there are many factors in persuading investors, it doesn’t hurt to have a clear, concise, and aesthetically-pleasing presentation.
