The Saint Paul Port Authority had a tough audience problem. They were trying to persuade the people of Minnesota’s capital of the importance of industrial development. It’s hard enough presenting to a skeptical audience, but it doesn’t help when your presentation is a “typical PowerPoint” overstuffed with bullet points, sterile tables, and dry facts. I helped the good folks at the port authority develop a colorful and engaging deck titled “Saint Paul: A City’s Story,” which broke down preconceived notions and started meaningful conversations.

Let it flow…

You can view the static slide samples below, but this deck was all about flow. Check out this video to see how I employed animation to create the free-flowing illusion of movement and transition from concept to concept.

In addition to the presentation design, I condensed the highlights of the presentation into a single-page/two-sided leave behind for the meetings.

“All of our audiences consistently react with appreciation and awe of the bright, colorful, and easy to understand graphics throughout our story.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our high-class and viewer-friendly presentation! Our kudos to Michael, who was so collaborative and helpful to us every step of the way in developing this new, eye-catching product.
